Today was a sleepy day. I went to work, moved some things into the “done” file (we’re more done then we are undone at this point, which is SO good!) and then grabbed some lunch with Shanna. Shanna is the new admin at work- and we clicked right away. It’s fun to have a GIRL at work (no offense boys!) and to have someone to giggle with and go to Bajio with, and she’s getting engaged soon-so it’s fun to relive all that excitement without having to worry about putting together my own guestlist. Phew.
After lunch, I came home to finish working here. I love the flexibility of my job- we have the necessary meetings and pursue and aggressive schedule, but I’m free to work on my own time and where it’s most comfortable for me. I spend the better part of Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office, but sometimes it’s nice to just come home, sit next to John before he heads to work, and plug away. I was feeling a bit ew (will it EVER go away) an hour or so after getting home, and took a nap. Now I feel fresher than a Daisey and ready to get some more stuff done. Plus, (and this is exciting) it’s THURSDAY LAUNDRY NIGHT. Might as well call it “You can wear your favorite outfit again” Eve!
