Sneaky Mac Time

I’m secretly using John’s Mac right now.  (Well, not so secretly when he reads my website.)  I find the keys very nice to type on.  Very nice indeed.

So.  Google is a big thing.  I just thought I’d mention it, because of the last three movies I’ve watched (most recently, Music and Lyrics) have mentioned Google at least once, in the context of “I googled….” whatever was googled.  You can Google a word to find out what it means.  You can Google a person to STALK them.  It’s amazing, I don’t think I realised that it was such an epidemic until this weekend.  Do people not use dictionaries, encyclopedias, or original source material anymore?  Just a new thought, of my own.  Not new for a lot of people.  I’m sure.  Just me.

So yes.  Just chilling this afternoon.  I need to do a few things, but I feel like just relaxing a bit at the moment.  Just a small, little bit of luxury on a Sunday afternoon.   I can’t believe that we are as far through the semester as we are.  I’m closer to December every day :)  This weekend has been nice.  We went to a wedding reception in Salt Lake area yesterday, and then went to a movie, Across the Universe.  It was an incredibly interesting movie, moving, remarkable (sometimes disturbing imagery), not boring at all.  I’m not sure I’d want to sit through the whole thing again- oddly enough, but I was glad to have an evening out watching it.

Tomorrow is back to life.  Time for classes and chapters at work, actually putting makeup on and leaving the house for more time than it takes to check the mail or put something in the trash.   I think I might a really happy hermit.  But only for a weekend or two, because I love the bookstore too much.
